Do you work with European poplar (Populus nigra) or American poplar (Populus deltoides).? Gibbons worked with lime. I diden´t know that Poplar could be carved whith this level of thickness. The details of petals and stem I supouse are carved separately Isn´t it? (El chopo es una madera blanda blanquecina de grano fino y uniforme. ¿Trabajas con chopo eurpeo (Populus nigra) o americano (Populus deltoides).? Gibbons trabajaba con tilo. Ignoraba que con chopo se pudiera llegar a espesores tan finos. Los detalles de pétalos y el tallo los habras tallado por separado ¿Es asi?)

It can be cut even finer. Add to my gallery flower itself (finer than this), also all in one piece. thickness is 1 mm flower gills (0.0393701 in).
